Qmail can make your life easier if you maintain a medium range mailserver with more then one domain. You can easily use VPOPMail with Qmail to host Multiple Domain in a single server. You can install Qmail in Different Platforms. The Few I have tried are RedHat-9, Fedora Core 3, Fedora Core 4, CentOS 5.1. I use the Combination of Qmail, VPOPMail, QmailScanner, ClamAV, SpamAssassin, SpamControl, QMRTG, QmailAdmin, Webmin and SquirrellMail. Other then Virtual Domain Support VPOPMail also supports Individual Maildir Quota for users. All Together You’ll have a Smooth MTA to work with. Installing it is a bit Tricky but not much Difficult. You can get all the related tarballs from internet. One good site is www.qmailrocks.org. But remember one thing, If you want to use Spamcontroll with Qmail pls do not use the big_patch from QmailRocks.
